In October we enjoyed two fantastic musical performances by local theatre groups.
First up we went to see Beauty & The Beast at The New Horizon Church at Eastwood. A magical retelling of the beloved fairy tale performed by local amateur dramatics group Nowmads.
An absolute credit to everyone involved — what a show! The whole crew really looked after us, with such a warm and inclusive approach in every aspect.
And a special thank you for raising funds for Eastwood Memory Cafe at your shows, as your chosen charity. This was very much appreciated. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, right on our doorstep!

Second up was a trip to the Theatre Royal in Nottingham on Thursday 30th October. We were treated to a sweet and imaginative journey into Willy Wonka’s Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, performed by Nottingham Operatic Society. Once again the cast and crew put on a professional performance and our guests and volunteers enjoyed a wonderful afternoon. Special thanks to our coach driver Wayne from Vallances Coaches who went above and beyond ❤️
